Damn, the things people with money can do. I bet I could make it down the straight, and maybe even through a whole turn or two on one of those. :D

So is this one of those things where if you have to ask, you can't afford it?

Yeah, the only thing is accoriding to that article it has been "completely overhauled by Ducati" and the engine management has been adjusted so you won't die - in other words, they basically derated the power output and likely took off some of the more bleeding-edge or super-insane-high-end stuff. I have no doubt that bike is insane, but I don't think it's "quite" the GP bike that Capirossi won the race on...

Either way, I'd hit it!!

go ride an 06 r6 on the track (gotta piss wind it)... then multiply by 2 and you have that gp bike.

Low torque, high horsepower motor... SUPER easy to ride... very rider friendly. That would be fun as hell to ride.

I would think MotoGP bikes would have more torque then that though. At least 100lbs of torque.. Then again anything could be possible..
