So I know I don't post often, but I thought I'd share this with you guys, plus I also need some help. First for those who know me, don't worry I'm ok.
The details:
So I'm coming home from work, almost home. I go to take a left on to my street, when all of the sudden BLAM, nailed by an 19 year old girl driving a dodge ram, from behind. I was just starting my turn, and all of the sudden my rearend just slides away from me. It then wobbles back and forth. I gain control of it and stop just before I hit a curb that probably would of dumped me into some grass.
I never went down!!! I don't know how, but it's f ing amazing. I never totally stopped for the turn as there was no need to, I just slowed down to let some traffic by, so I was at about 15mph. She said she was doing about 35mph. She said she hit her breaks and tried to swerve when she saw me. She said she was looking in her rearview mirror and that's why she didn't see me in front of her.
She nailed my exhaust and bent it to about a 90 degree angle. That seems to be about the only damage as far as I can tell. Her driver side headlight got smashed and a big gouge taken out of the bumper, under the headlight, from the inside of the headlight to about the outside of the bumper. Fu k ing crazy. As far as I can tell I'm ok, but I am feeling pretty sore through out my neck and back. I think I'm still tense from the accident.
As far as the bike goes here is where I need help. I would like to take it maybe to TK or another shop tomorrow to be looked at, for estimates. I do have a truck, but no ramp. So if someone could help I would greatly appreciate it. PLease let me know.
Here's some pics

So.... um..... well..... was she hot? I bet you got her phone number, right???? This isn't a problem - it is an opportunity.
Oh, and I am glad it turned out exceptionally well for you. I like the new exhaust look too, although I think your right hand turns are going to suck.

Thanks guys for all the comments, and jokes. I seriously thought about trying to start a new trend with that "side exit exhaust". We could call it the S.E.E. look.  Get it? Ya I know bad joke. Oh well
A big thanks to Ralph for letting me borrow his ramp. Rock on thank you very much
I got the bike to T-FOG. They said it will be a while before they can get to it. They were amazed at the condition the bike appears to be in after I told them what happened. Crazy shit
Once again thanks to all!!! 8)

I have a stock F4I exhaust laying around if you need to borrow it till you get a new can or I would sell if you wanted it.

Rear view mirror... that's a good one.

I'm sorry about your accident. I'm very glad you weren't hurt. Hopefully, the damages to your bike are only cosmetic.

So, took it to TFOG and here's what they found.
By the way those guys rock
Exhaust (of course) pipe/can
Passenger peg bracket (bent to shit)
Front tire - Apparently when I was hit, the rear end actually was lifted off of the ground. All the pressure was then applied to the front wheel and it was pushed or dragged across the ground on that front tire. Because we found a section of tire, about the size of a contact patch, that was completely grated up, like a cheese grater was run over it. Crazy
Total bill: About $900
Actually not to bad at all. That girl got lucky.
So I'm actually going to just get a new set of Metzler's M3's. I thought I'd see how I like those. Also Scott (TFOG) and I were talking and he asked if I want a different exhaust which got me thinking. I really love my Devil, but do I want to try something new? I'm somewhat thinking about it, but I'm very stuck on Devil. I think if I were to change it would only be to Akrapovic, or Micron. Any thoughts? I think

You might want to investigate Yoshimura.

Honda and Jardine go together quite nicely. :D
Then again if it's her dime, I'd probably get a full Akrapovic EVO, or an Arata or Termignoni (if they make an F4i setup).
Basically get the highest possible estimate on the exhaust (full Akra is probably gonna run around $1400), and then divy up the cash accordingly, on the upgrades your heart desires.

Get an Enrion if you have a Honda. I had both an F2 and an F4 with it and loved it!

That would be ironically funny, a Jew with an "Erion" exhaust.

She probably was looking in her rear view mirror.... what she left out was what she was looking at in it, which was assumably herself.

If it was a Suzuki, I'd think about it, but not for a Honda. It just seems that Yoshi is designed specifically for Suzuki. They don't seem to be that great on anything else IMO.
I know Jardines go good with Honda, but I just don't like anything about them. Especially their sound. I think I might just stick with Devil, or maybe Micron, or maybe Arata. AAAGGHHHHHHHH I'll figure it out

The only reason I suggested a Yoshimura is that I used to have a Yoshimura TRS Race on a 2002 Yamaha FZ1. The sound was awesome; it had a quality that I have a hard time describing, as if something sounded wonderfully hollow.
My son liked the sound so much he put a Yoshimura TRS Race on his 2004 Suzuki GSX-R1000. It sounded incredible. He ultimately raced that bike.
Lee
P.S. One more thing about the Yoshimura TRS Race slip-on exhaust. I've had cops ride beside me with their windows down to see if I needed a citation. The exhaust is reasonably quiet when just crusing along but open the throttle and wind your engine up, and you can hear it for a mile.

Well I got my bike back yesterday :bananna: :hump: A big thanks to the TFOG guys for getting it all taken care of for me  :headbang: New Micron high mount, and new Metzler M3's. Took it to the canyons to break in the new tires, took it nice and easy for the most part to get them scrubbed in, but at some points I just couldn't resist
The micron has nowhere near the sound of my old Devil. It lacks that low rumble (or purr as I like to call it) at idle, and it doesn't have near the scream at high rpm's. Now don't get me wrong it still has a little bit of a rumble, and it does scream a little at much higher rpm's. Even though I have some complaints, I do like it. I'm just not used to it and I need a little time to adjust to it. It is still decently loud, and does have a very nice sound to it. It's more like a growl throughout the low's to high's, I guess, hard to explain.
Anyways here's some pics.
