Buffalo Pass Ride- Sunday May 21st

Anyone up for a Sunday sport touring canyon ride? I’m thinking depart Colorado Springs about 830am, and possibly see some new Southern Colorado scenery.
I’m still in deep thought about a route… What do you folks think of this? Canyon City, Salida, Saguache, Buffalo Pass North to 50, and then back to the Springs… I’m guessing about 250 miles? I’ve never traveled 114 and if anyone knows about this road, please post up. Thanks.

The same meeting spot will work- Black Bear Coffee Shop, SW side of town. Meet about 8am and roll by 830.

I was way off on my mileage estimate and we ended up clocking 394 miles. :o

New to me roads, Poncha Pass, North Pass, and Cochetopa Canyon were nice bits of twisties.

Good ride. Thanks for leading. I must say we covered those miles in a hurry. :D I think I only seen 2 leos but I'm still thinkin we need a radar detector.

I was starting to get fatigued by the end of that run. I didn't help myself by purchasing new gloves, it felt like I was over crimping the whole time.
