So I know there are a number of people on here who live in some apartment complex's in Littleton. My little sister has given her notice to move out of where she is at (in Grant Ranch) and is wanting to get a reasonably priced 2 bedroom in the same area. She has looked at the ones behind Bennigans (off Wadsworth) called The Heights, and also looked at The Dakotas behind Southwest Plaza. She has also looked in the area of Kipling and Hampden (don't know what those ones are called).
Who lives in this area and what do you think overall? Her concerns are thefts (vehicle), safe area for a young female, well maintained, good management, etc. She also has pets, so has to have a place that allows that.

I live at Whisper Creek Apts (Hamden/Kipling). They take pets. Places are what you would expect for apartments. I'm sure you can find pictures on the web somewhere. They have garages available too. I've been here 9 months and it seems safe to me. I haven't heard of any car thefts, but there were a couple of break ins to garages. These are the more remote garages not directly visable to anyone's actual apt. In general, it's fine. I haven't had any problems and I have plenty of goodies in my garage.

Let me know if you have any other Q

I live off of hampten and wadsworth place called "The Hamptens" Great plsce, apartments are nice, and if you were worried about theft, my bike was outside covered for 5 weeks and was never taken....

Now that is safe!

Mel,

Carmel Properties owns a few apartment complexes down there. Peach Tree 1, Water's Edge, The Hampden's, the ones behind Bennigan's, etc. There is a 200 dollar referral fee to so if your sis gets one of those I could split it 150/50! ;)
