Hi, I'm Marty and currently living in Morrison. I have a 2004 yama R1 silver with a 2.5 lb bottle of NOS hanging off the side. I am sure you have seen me jetting around. I am not a SQUID I just like to go fast. I have been riding since I was 5 years old and now I am 31. I am married and my wife rides a 2003 CBR600RR yellow with black flames. I am also sure you have seen her riding. I am a father of 1.2 that means I have one already and one (Ijust found out) on the way. So thats me in a nut shell. I currently lurk mostly in the www.motomummy.com (http://www.motomummy.com) forum and seldom these day to the www.r1-forum.com (http://www.r1-forum.com) The reason I am here is because I have ridden with some of you and the older I get the harder it is to get a group ride in. Actually the older I get the more I want to ride and you seem to have a great group of guys and GALS tahat want to ride. So call me or hit me up in an PM and to set up a ride. I am ready for anything and canyon carving by my self is for the birds!!!!:) :) :) :)

You don't by chance ride to work on 285 in the morning do you? I'm guessing your NOS is on the right hand side mounted by the passenger peg? :dunno:

Hey,
Would be interested in riding sometime. Been awhile since I last rode along with anyone in the csc. Use to ride an RC51, bought a house, had to sell the toys and I just recently purchased a VFR to get back into a groove. Not about the speed...its about the ride and style for me. Let me know if you get something together...

Sunday mornings you are more than welcome to join the crowd down at your local Conoco (Morrison and 470). The coffee's not too bad, it aint Starbucks though. Hhhmmm, I wonder where I could mount one of those cup holders on the Duc?:yumyum: We meet anywhere from 9:00 on and usually leave about 10:00. As long as you've got gear your GOOD TO GO.

There are alot of different levels of ridders who join us and we always have a sweeper and stop along to way to count helmets. Just find your spot in the group where you feel comfortable. Some weekend there are more than others but it is always a good time.

Keep it safe and see ya out there.

So what's it really like when you hit the button? Does the bike just take off, or is it more of a gradual increase in power? Can't imagine what it's like to ride a juiced bike... but I'd love to try sometime! (hint hint) :D

Just imagine that 6th gear pulling as hard as first gear. That might get you some sort of an idea.....LOL:shocked:

What proper gear are you reffering to.... Tank top sandals shorts and a dew rag???? Gloves and glasses are optional.....:drink:

K...No doubt that is sweet as hell. But, I was wondering where do you get to run that 6th gear to pull like the 1st gear at?

Anywhere I can. Actually I mostly hit it in 3rd and on up. I took it to Oklahoma a few months ago and got to see some really long flat straight roads and not to mention it is a much lower altitude and hit the gas and practily shit my pants with out the NOS and when I did hit it I REALLY had to change my undies.. Hitting the button in 4th and the front end coming up WOOOOO HOOOooooo..... What a RUSH!!!!!!!!
