Well... I just got back from the bixpo at "The Ranch".. chatted with the a guy from the Ducati Dealership who then told me about this coffee shop owned by a motorcycle lover. Called MotoHaus coffee shop.

Went and checked out the shop myself just now. The place is pretty cool man. They have motorcycle pics up, riders board on the wall and pretty good white chocolate fraps.

Anyway, they have bike night on Thursday Nights. Sometimes with cool games where you can win some cash and stuff. I talked to the owner Max and his wife for a while. They are some real cool people!!

So.. if you are avaliable and wanna hang with me and some people come on by. Located at 6712 S. College Ave which is just South of Trilby Rd in Fort Collins and just North of Loveland on Hwy 287 on the East side. Bike night starts at 6 till 9pm

Yeah man, sorry for the late post.. As soon as I got home I posted about it. I doubted that many people would see it before we met. But the good thing is that there is always next week..and the one after..and the one after..lol

HA HA! Well when I went last night there were some old school late 60/early 70's BMW R90 and S90 series all the way up to a new 996 Duc. With a sportster and others thrown into the mix.

Max (the owner) was just down with anyone coming with anything they wanted. Everyone was friendly and didn't bite. So I am sure "Desert Storm" is welcome. =)

Writer’s Displacement Activity? Is that the term? We call it “waxing the cat”. As in, you’re supposed to be writing, but first you have to wash the dishes. And sweep the floor. And then the dust on that shelf really gets to bothering you. And while you’re at it, you could wipe the grime off the switchplates and the door moldings.
Next thing you know, you’re eyeing Fluffy and saying “Gosh, how long has it been since I got around to waxing the cat?”

So, we were at the Motohaus Coffee place this evening...Bat, TurboGizzmo and myself and saw all sorts of really cool sportbikes parked outside. Saw a Duc, several beemers of different ages (mostly vintage), and lots of different and interesting people who told us about the First Annual Jiggamahootie that will take place this Saturday starting at 5pm. There's a cash prize for going the slowest without putting your feet down and other prizes as well.

Yep, met Max tonight, Angela last week - great people. I'd say we definitely have a new spot to hang out for us Northies. The winter moto movie thing sounds pretty cool for when the snow starts flying. Every Thursday night is bike night so come on out people! Tonight was a gorgeous night for riding too. It's gotta be a good night when the ninjette starts up without major cursing involved - okay at least from the Motohaus without cursing, lol! ;)

so tonight we are there at motohaus, and i mention to a few of you how the cops like to meet me at my house when i am out and about, just to let me know the usual stuff like, slow down and be more careful, etc.. well tonight, leaving the coffee shop, riding down college, i am crusing at a normal for me pace of 68-70 mph (55 zone), and what i didnt know, was that the car right next to me, just behind my field of vision, was a nice loveland cop, i guess he was runnin my plates or whatever cause he was there at my side for a while, but because of my new damn mirrors i never saw him pull up. anyways, he didnt pull me over. just thought you guys would like to know, the no ticket streak continues. oh yeah, and i was wearing my headphones, which are white of course, totaly visable.

I am now living up here, moved up to Loveland in October. I worked down in Denver as a financial advisor, however wasn't exactly happy with some things at work.........so decided it was time to change. I have family up here so decided to come back up this way.

I will have to try to make it down to hang out with you guys on Thurs. - Our broker/dealer just went though a conversion so been pretty busy with that and no time for 'fun' stuff.
