Sounds like a good time. So where exactly is this place; is it in the old wal-mart area by Christy Sports or on the other side in that blue/gray shopping center?

Do you know where Trilby is? It's just south of Trilby and 287, on the East side of the road (just south of the Citgo gas station). It sits smack dab in the middle of that giant car wash facility by the breezeway in the middle of the building. It's a small coffee shop, but they serve a great cup a Jo and the service is great.

I know now where you are talking about, they just built that building over the summer. Sounds great and close by my house. Might have to stop by look for me on a yellow/black GSX-R. Thanks for the info and hope we can meet.

okie, dokie...you know my bike from my sig line, although it's a tad trashed now...TurboGizzmo will more than likely be there as well. Actually, I'm not too sure about going, but with a little poking and prodding;) , I may just show up.

This was such a cool deal. I think there were somewhere around 75 bikes of all makes and models/years there. There were over 30 contestants. It was a great time, great atmosphere for everyone, including the kiddos. Lots of people got knocked out of the first round of the contest for putting their foot down on the slow traffic cone course. Didn't stay for the standing stop, though...gotta be ready for a morning ride with the girls...we're going up to Estes.

Nice to have met knew people...good meeting you Matt...come by on Thursday, bring your wife and we'll have some good times. The coffee house owner loves to cater to motorcyclists of all kinds and will have a "bike night" every Thursday...even during the winter.

Oh, I've got photos of the contest tonight...I'll try and post one or two later.

MAL, glad to see you're out having fun. I look forward to the pics. Perhaps this fall-winter we can organize some training rides before canyon runs. Good practice and the canyons can heat up a bit.

Was awesome, most bikes I've seen in one place for just being such a small place and event.

I ended up tooling around town afterwords cuz i was all jacked up on coffee!

That was fun, i think i might have to try and make it on thursdays now. i dont think i met anyone from here tonight but just n case you wanna know, i was the one that was marking the finish line for the first event, some great looking bikes, although i was kinda lonely being the only R1 owner out there.

yep thats my baby, and i did stay for the standing stop, but i was in the back of the crowd talking with some guys so i didnt catch who won, and i had to leave shortly there after. i have a job in denver this thursday but i should be able to make it back up here within a reasonable hour to make it the coffee shop. i would like to check out the vintage bikes, i heard the last one was great.

Ok, so here's some pics from the Jiggamahootie thing. They don't do the turnout much justice. There were loads of bikes parked all over the place, not just in that one shot I've posted here. Also, because the sun had gone down, the contest pics aren't as clear as they could be. Oh, and as far as contestants, there was a such a range from sportbikes to a chopper, a supermoto, Goldwing, a 1980 Honda 200, KTM Duke, Ducati...and on and on. Here they are:
