Okay, so I've had these frame sliders for my '00 R1 since, oh, last summer sometime. Finally got around to pulling the plastic, cutting holes and putting them on.
Not sure why I put it off for so long. It was a snap. I did the modeling clay trick, masking tape and 220 grit sandpaper to finish it up. Looks as if the hole was cast into the plastic at the factory.
If anyone wants help doing theirs, I'd be happy to assist. I've got a bunch of clay left and a good set of hole saws.
