Good point.

I'd like to reduce her weight.
She's a fairly heavy girl by todays standards.
(Not that big girls don't deserve lovin too.)

I don't really care to go 180mph as much as I want her quick in the twisties.

BTW.
Vance, Pinktaco, and JOE!!,
I named her Prudence (like the Beatles song) in hopes her name will rub off on my riding style and keep the tickets and roadrash to a minimum.

people who don't like nekkid bikes are bunch of closed-minded, kunckle-dragging, mount-breathing morons. Typical American reaction to naked bikes.

 nice.....Nekkid bikes in general there is nothing wrong with (I think monster s2R's are way sexy) However, a bike that was designed as a nekkid bike looks a lil differnt than a bike which was designed with fairings to direct air and cover ugly stuff.

hmmm...I think you know my preference...

But, Mel does make a point. Mine was designed this way. And, oh what a design!!! You do make a point, as well, Jeff. So, I say go with your gut.

Note how I have no argument one way or the other...I just love my baby.:)

My whole point was that the nekkid front with a contoured rear the way it is, just doesn't look quite right to me. I think SV's look nice, they were born nekkid!

Like Mel said, I got nuffin again nekkids if they're designed that way.

But nekkid DOES look better on women! :hump: ;)

Nekkid is pretty sweet. The Hawk would look like crap with plastics IMO. Personal choice I guess. My choice is nekkid

Very true...

I was rolliing the Sprint w/o lower fairings while they were being repainted and it was FUGLY! Some bike are designed to go both ways, mine likes to be clothed.

Naked bikes are tons of fun, and it all comes down to what look you like more. Getting the wind off your face can be nice, if you do a lot of highway riding. If it's just a little bit of regular highway riding, you will eventually get used to it and be able to deal/tuck more.

Personally though, I like the look of that Triumph naked... it has so much more personality and uniqueness than it does with the full fairings.

i like my bikes like my women, black and with the fairings attached, hmmm thats doesnt make much sense, lets change that up a bit how about - i like my bikes like my women, clothed on the street and anything goes once the garage door shuts. yeah that works better

I like the homemade "Speed Triple"

Basically, a 'Tona without the fairings is a S3, Triumph didn't do alot of beautification with the change because they didn't need to. :p

That TL is sweet too!
