Anyone know what size the bolts to mount this on my 929 forks may be? Thread size, length, diameter?

I don't know the specs, but if you have the forks and fender already, I have an assortment of metric bolts we could try out for size, then run over to your local Ace hardware (believe it or not, they have a pretty good selection of metric bolts!) and get exactly what you need. Odds are it's a 6mm, with 1mm thread pitch. Length is the only thing I have no idea on. I know on the Yamaha, there are 2 bolts per fork leg, and only one of them is threaded, so the other requires a nut on the other end. I can swing by tonight if you want. Let me know. 8)

That's part #7 on the diagram (7: BOLT, SPECIAL (6X17))... don't forget about part #8 (8: SCREW, SPECIAL (6MM)), length unknown. ;)

Oh, and AAA Metric (http://aaametric.com/) rules!

:D

No worries Dana.

I'm just out of a relationship, so while I appreciate the proposal, it's really just too soon. :)

Scott et al,
On many occaisions I used the resources at BikeBandit.com for fitment issues with my former sled the zuki RF900R. It was a great ride but some items were quite "unique". Some things came from the old gsxr1100 while others were mysteries.... Thanx for sharing.
