Well, I just got back in from a run over Squaw Pass. It was a fine day for it, although I got started a bit late. It was a delightful run. The snow at the top, on the side of the road is five feet deep. And you bet, it is a bit crisp. Best time for a sunny ride, 1:30 to 3 PM. Before and after that you risk the run-off bieng a bit slick.

Picks: The route from Bergan Park to Idaho Springs. The road has no ice and only medium to light sand.

Pans: From Idaho Springs eastbound to Bergan Park you will have to hop over in the oncoming lanes to avoid some packed ice and heavy sand in a few spots.
