I'm sure everyone is getting annoyed by my weekday rides. Aw well. Anyone available to join? I'm looking at heading to Boulder Canyon and heading out the door before 1230

Damn good ride today. Met up with Adam, a friend so Slo's (Jay), and went up and down to Jamestown. Gravel a few times but plenty more clear curves. Even had some vehicles wave us past, which was a nice change. Once we got done we headed to Chillies for some triple play action. No cops, no road rash, no problems. Good day.

Adam after his smoke break. Low and behold, Adam used to live in the green house in the background too.

Mike (rideco) and I went up Coal Creek, Peak-to-Peak and Golden Gate back down today. The switchbacks at the top of Coal Creek are still pretty sandy.
We got luck as hell on the way back up 93 I was looking for the turnoff to Leyden, so I had slowed way down (you know 55), and as we topped the hill we met the local LEO cruising south... also on "Leyden Rd?" I thought a car looked a bit funny so I slowed up, and it was unmarked black.. ouch that would have been bad. Thank goodness for my spidey senses :)

Joined up with 98rc46 for a run on the south side of Denver from Sedalia to Larkspur back up through the Tohmah Tights into Castle Rock then over to Franktown and back to Denver. I know your thinking, "gee, how boring, no canyons, no twisties, nothing but flats and straights. Errr, wrongo. Can you say "Elk Creek Speedway", for as long as it is open, is one of the most challenging "tracks" around- fast elevation changes and several esses. Then their is the Lake Gulch Grinder- high speed sweepers, banked turns and the like. That is followed by the Russelville Run one of the fastest most desolite best views of the front range. Punch your ticket with an E ride on the Tomici Turns to round it out. Total time to run 2 hours. Cops = Zero. Traffic-near non existent. Bicycles-what bikes? I think I saw some guy on his bike doing like 120-nuts, just nuts. Oh, and the deer just wave as you zip by. Oh, and this was all done at rush hour.
