It's all a silly lil ol numba when it comes down to it.:)

Yeah, it's wasted on the old, or is that *fricken old*?

Happy belated, Mike. Lemme know what size cane you're lookin for, I might have a spare and will gift wrap it for ya.;)

Seriously though, wasn't it our parents who just about had a hissy when they got into their 40's? What's up with that? I have no idea what all the fuss was about. I'm still waiting on all the creaks, moans and groans (and no comments on my lack of a love life:p ) to start setting in.

I think it's: "Youth is wasted on the young."

40's not that big a deal because "40 is the new 30".
Plus as a woman the new rules are that after 30 you only have to recognize leap years (my Mom's idea).
You can still celebrate it every year, just don't have to increase the number.

Sounds like I have ya beat by a full year, I'll be 44 in June.
(I love ages that are ammo calibers.)

You're a Gemini too?!!! No wonder there's so much confusion going on with this club. Can't tell if we're coming or going, happy or sad...te he.

I've hit an impasse since the major weight loss. Been here since March of '05. I want another 35 gone, dammit! Trying, but meh as long as I keep exercising and doing the strength training, I'm happy. The rest of the weight can stay if it wants to.

Cool beans! I've kept 110 lbs off for the past 2 years this month. If I can get the last 35 off, well...you do the math. It still amazes me every time I think about it.

So, you're gonna be the big 5-0 huh? Real soon, too, I see. Do it up right then and take yourself and Rita some place real special.
