What's it sound like compared to the stock pipe?

It has a much better sound..Kinda throaty. It sounds kinda like a race bike now..Im loving it but its hating the power commander..I have a lull in the throttle responce and it pops a lil.

I need to get a P/C for the Daytona.
Along with patching/painting the fairing, machining the bars, adjusting the valves, replacing the seat, and finishing up the suspension adjustments.
(Shit, what'll I do with the rest of this afternoon.:banghead: )

Its the initial throttle up..And yes its fully ajustable. Im just a tard at fixing it.

How much did it set you back?

I get the military discount at Apex in teh Springs so i paid out the door $444. Not too bad of a price but it took a month to get here due to Micron and them saying that there is a back log.

First off, thats a BEAUTIFUL bike! I am not a GSXR guy but that is about the best one i have seen..Secondly, I like the Microns cuz they have a fade color can and i really like the sound.

Nope. But it's how I want mine to look. Pretty sure that's a pic of the K5 600. So, I'll stick that exhaust on this (sorry I don't have an exhaust side shot of mine...this will have to do) and hope it turns out near as well.

I put it on with Kellys help. It wasnt too hard, she was there mostly for morale support.

I just got a highmount mid pipe for my micron and from your pics and pics I've seen of them on other bikes and it looks like it goes to far back. What do you think? I love the way it looks from the side but from the rear it looks like the can is to far back and it bugs me. I'm gonna look at trying to shorting mine up and powder coating the mid pipe black.
Check and see if your bike has AIS (air intake system) It puts fresh air from the air box into the exhaust lower the emmissions and will cause most of the pop. I took mine off and all most all of the poping is gone.

Yeah it does seem to be a but past the tail..but i dont really mind it. And ill check in to the AIS..THX for the advice.
