Thu Apr 5th, 2007, 10:45 AM
I heard he was going to buy a big ol' pile of gay porn. Imagine that - $5500 or so of gay porn in that toterhome he drives around. Oh, and don't worry Doug and Bertha, I think he will definitely let you drive. :slappers:

Damn, am I cranky today or what?

You are just asking for a serious t-boning. Don't make me go find a motard and run your ass down.

You would have to catch me first. I am not as slow at motard as I was at roadracing. Close, but not quite. C'mon buy a motard and come out and play. They are much cheaper than roadrace.

Yes they do. But when I went into the bank to get a loan for my new motard that I wanted to buy I put down State of Colorado for my employment. The lady said she needed to know what department. I told told her Dept. of Unemployment, she said oh what area and I said receiving. She said oh like in the warehouse and I said no I'm receiving umemployment checks. Needless to say I didn't get the loan.

Better add that ugly ass KTM 690 to the list, mid April release.
http://www.ktmusa.com/fileadmin/swf/productspecials/uploads/690supermoto-schwarz-big.jpg

But then again a used 640 LC4 w/ 3K mi. for $4K might just be the ticket. Soooo many choices

Holy crap, that bike is ugly. You may be better off just buying the gay porn, if that bike is the best you can come up with.

Oh, and since you sold the DRZ, how you gonna start that KTM? You don't think the battery for the electric start is going to last more than three tries, do you? Since it is a KTM, it takes at least 5 tries to get it running.

Bueller
Thu Apr 5th, 2007, 07:19 PM
I'll have to bring my KTM to pull Jim's
And who are you to call anything ugly?

Only people with a small penis get a bike as big as the XR650R.
Oh wait, dammit!

Why not go for the 950SM if you want a street tard? They're better looking and more powerful than the new 690 SMC. They added 25-30lbs to the new 690 compared with the old 625.

The electric start on my KTM works better than the one on my Honda BTW.

Bueller
Fri Apr 6th, 2007, 07:04 PM
If I was to think about the 950, I would probably just get the 990 Super Duke, that frakin' bike talks to me.

I don't think I could get used to the front end of that 690 so I will have to see what the future hold for that bike, bet they don't do that for '08.
Seems the SXV is out of the question though, reliability makes that bike a no go.
The Husky is probably the front runner as far as new bikes go, but I am seriously considering letting some one else take the new bike sticker hit and go with a low milage used unit. I am going to look at a KTM 640 this weekend.

The latest (May '07) issue of Cycle World has a great write up on it. 1/4 mile times of 10.76 and great handling. Looks to be a fun bike.

DOT knobbies and rimlocks make for a less than stellar ride at highway speeds, once I get some 17's It'll go like the wind. What gearing are you running?

krod
Sat Apr 14th, 2007, 09:46 PM
14/44 is stock for the smr. I am running 13/44 pulls harder and still has a good top end.
