just so i could have peace of mind, is the what sounds to be the front brake intermittently rubbing, normal? i was told my a shop and a by a friend that rides that its normal. is this true? also, if it is true, is there any remedy?

If you get Galfer HH pads it hums real nice! I got used to it......NORMAL.

I took my pads out and it fixed it.

Hell, why'd you stop there...take of the calipers, rotors, lever and you lose some significant weight off of the bike AND no funny rubbing sounds

Teflon fluid and WD-40 fixed the rub on my scooter.

Didn't want to screw up my resale value, then they would ask "has this bike been raced?"
