Private Sessions with Bostrom Brothers to be Auctioned at Racing 2 Save Lives

TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (April 16, 2007) — A once-in-a-lifetime experience will be available to motorcycle enthusiasts when Racing 2 Save Lives (R2SL) returns to Miller Motorsports Park May 3-6, as four lucky auction winners will be able to have a hour of exclusive on-track training with motorcycle racing superstars Eric or Ben Bostrom.

R2SL will hold an auction on its website, www.racing2savelives.org (http://www.racing2savelives.org/), starting at 5:00 pm MT on Wednesday, April 18, and ending at 11:59 pm MT on Friday, April 27, offering two one-hour sessions with Eric Bostrom and two one-hour sessions with Ben Bostrom. The on-track sessions are scheduled for 10:30 am – 11:30 am on Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6.

R2SL is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children's charities by raising awareness, involvement, and capital within the motorcycling community through donations, corporate sponsorship and fund-raising events. All profits generated by R2SL, including the auction proceeds, will be distributed among carefully selected organizations that have a significant impact on the lives of children-in-need, and their families.

The Bostrom brothers have been strong supporters of R2SL since its inception, and admit to enjoying the tutoring sessions as much as the auction winners.

“In an hour you can learn a lot,” said Ben. “Usually only a factory rider gets this chance. To have the track to themselves with an instructor is huge.”

“It’s a unique opportunity all the way around,” Eric concurred, “especially at a world-class facility like Miller, and the bonus is that it’s for a good cause!”

During the four-day R2SL event, motorcycle riders will be able to ride on Miller Motorsports Park’s state-of-the-art track on both street and racing bikes, with separate tracks set up for each group. The R2SL event represents the best value in motorcycle track time of the season at MMP. Riders interested in participating should visit the R2SL website at www.racing2savelives.org (http://www.racing2savelives.org/), where classes and fees are detailed.

Last year, R2SL attracted a record 350 participants and raised $65,000, half of which was distributed through Larry H. Miller Charities, and $27,000 of which went directly to the Tooele and Grantsville school districts.

The event is open to both street and racing bikes, with separate tracks set up for each group. The R2SL event represents the best value in motorcycle track time of the season at MMP.

Spectator tickets for Riding 2 Save Lives at Miller Motorsports Park are on sale now. Trackside Viewing tickets are priced at only $5. Tickets can be purchased at the Miller Motorsports Park Welcome Center or online at www.ticketmaster.com (http://www.ticketmaster.com/). As always, Trackside Viewing tickets for children aged 12 and under are free of charge at Miller Motorsports Park.

I won one of the private sessions with Ben last year and let me tell you what an incredible experience it was. It was by far one of the coolest things I have ever done. I could not believe how much I learned in an hour.

I had so much fun last year I think I'm gonna have to bid on this years sessions :) Good thing my hubby is not jealous type :eyebrows:

That's awesome of them! They are such supporters of R2SL.

However, I know I'd never learn a thing from them... like a guy staring at a set of Double D 38's on some porn star. I'd have the same glazed look if Ben were instructing, "...um, so, I pull in the clutch.. and then.... <<<<:music: :music: dream weaver... you can get me through the night!!!....:music: "

Definitely money well spent!
What Eric taught me carried though to the MRA season.
I was faster at every track I raced at.
Dropped over 5 seconds a lap @ PMI.
And hey I even passed his brother Ben on the
track @ MMP. How may people can say that?
Bid on them, do it, DO IT NOW!

K guys... this is IT!! Your last chance to bid!!! I can't believe how amazingly cool this opportunity is and that no one has really bidded! The highest bid is only at $450!!!

So... I just wanna recap what you get if you win:

- An hour of private mentoring with one of the Bostrom's!
- You get the whole track to yourselves - everyone else gets to watch!
- This isn't a set class, they will work with you on what you need.
- This is the ONLY place you can get something like this, and it is extremely limited!
- Of course lots of photographers will be out there making sure you have pics to show off to your friends.
- You will learn so much in an hour with Eric or Ben that you will be able to pass your friends!

How cool is this??? Don't regret later, while you are watching someone else out there with Eric or Ben, and realize for only a meer few hundred bucks, you could be doing the same thing!

Just out of curiosity, what is the Actual Cash Value of the one hour lesson (to include track time cost) if it were done separately--as in a standard racing school?

Thousands of dollars. The bostrom's wouldn't come cheap, and neither would exclusive rental of MMP. This isn't a standard racing school. :)

Wow. If it sells for half that it must be a steal!

I think it is. I don't know that there is any way to put a price on it. Race schools typically offer courses to 20 or so people on an open track. This is one on one coaching, on a PRIVATE track for an hour. On top of that the Bostrom's aren't in the school or coaching business, so there is no good way to value their time.

I'm bidding on one of the sessions....I know I need some coaching to go faster!
