Mother's day is coming up, and my wife (who rides an FZ750) wants a clock for her bike. Now I could go and get her one of those $1 plastic stick on clocks, but I don't think that would be a good idea...:guns: Anybody know of anything that could attach to the dash ? Something big enough to read while riding... Thanks.

Tell there is a clock on the oven.

You will wantto make sure to find one that is back lit too :)

a fairly basic bicycle computer would probably do the trick. i agree with D, you'll wanna back lit one. they are pretty much water proof too.

Find out if another bikes gauge cluster will bolt on, and buy her one of those and install it. Maybe something from an older YZF-"R" model or something. :dunno:

Hey, for all that work it'd be easier to just buy her a BMW... They all come standard with clocks :hump:

Not sure if you want to spend this much, but these little buggers are kinda nice.

You can custom set the data fields to be whatever you want from clocks, to stopwatches, to actual GPS functions.

REI sells them for $100, with another $18 going for the bike mount.

Um, you don't get older than her FZ. 1985...she loves it though and I don't think she would let me sell it and get her something newer... Just got it painted this spring, looks great now.

Thanks for the other ideas, I hadn't thought about bike stuff.

Um, you don't get older than her FZ.

I'm sure you're right, but I said from an older YZF-R model. Something along the lines of a late '90s R1 or R6.

They've always come with clocks, so far as I remember.

I bought a cheap digital watch, took off the band and used velcro tape to attach it to my display. Easy to take off, waterproof, and no maintence.

I got ya, misread the first post, sorry...I don't think the newer clusters will fit, but I'll do some checking. That would be cool if I found one.

Thanks for all the other ideas guys.
