Ive been doing a lil bit of painting

Ok, what'd you paint? Something on the bike, I presume... :?

Back of the bike looks good but I have no idea what's different.

So far its the passenger pegs and exhaust heat shield. More to come...

need a tad more sun on the parts i beleive they are in the shadow of thebike thats why we cant see them well... but it makes it look sleeper black on black.

Do you mean that solid black bit on the main pipe in the first picture? It's definately black :)

The peg's silver though. Same metal color as the driver's peg. Did you paint it silver?

I guess your having a hard time finding the passenger peg..Thats exactly what i wanted.

No, I can see the peg just fine. It's the silver line running from the end of the can about 3" up, right (on the second pic)? On the first pic it's running from the mount up. I can see it fine. Are you trying to hide it? Do you mean the passenger peg mount? That's black. The peg is silver though.

Looks nice! :up: Much easier to see now with the new pics. 2 questions:
1) What kind of paint did you use?
2) Did you do any kind of surface prep?

I scraped em with a light grain sand paper...Then i used a primer. And then i used a gloss black to finish it up...Im pretty sure they are gonna scratch, but its a work in progress...

They are not that great..I just wanted to do something different..It was an idea that i wanted to make a reality. But thank you none the less.

I'm sure the sanding/primer is going to help reduce chipping.

Any particular kind of paint, or just your basic Krylon/Rustoleum/whatever?

Both the primer and paint are Rustolieum. It wasnt expensive..Like $10 to do it all.
