We (my two roomies and I) saw this video on the interweb of people exploading dry ice bombs...
right click and save! (http://poststuff.entensity.net/051104/media.php?media=dryice.wmv)
So we decided to do it ourselves... Heres the vids!

The explosions are about as loud as a high powered rifle... My ears were ringing a bit afterwards.

The store.
Briz - if you're worried about it (honestly, I think it'll fracture the glass, but...) then etch some 'X' marks in a couple spots on the bottle. This will create a weakened area for the force to focus on, and'll probably blow up fairly nice. (You could also probably make "shaped" dry-ice charges in this manner, with a bit of practice and perhaps some duct tape. go play.) Even if it did just blow the top off, the glass would still break I think just from the shock of that much pressure escaping a small area.
