Golden -Blackhawk and beyond with Cops & Traffic

Hi Members,

Today I was riding from Golden - Blackhawk to reach nederland. :x man was the traffic bad....couldnt do more than 45 and :cry: and there were cops for every 5 miles...waiting with their radar to :guns: bust...can anyone tell of a good time during weekends to ride in route 6 & 119.

There is never a good time during the weekends to ride that stretch of road. I was born and raised up there and the only ideal time to ride it is during the week. Gilpin county and Boulder county sheriff have always loved to patrol that area. A good stretch to ride is out of Lions up highway 7 then across to Nederland and back to Boulder late morning on the weekends. Good luck
