I'm looking to do a ride on Sunday. I would love to hit Golden Gate Canyon. Anyone down?

I'm staying away from Golden Gate and office Enke for a couple weeks. In fact if I can miss Gilpin County all together that would be great.

I'm giong to try to finish up the 636 in Fri/Sat so I should be there Sunday, what time?

Yeah, those Harley guys were pretty cool. The run the canyon was ok except for the damn moving van.

By the way, that black ZX-10 is SICK!!! Leif was in love when the RC51 pulled in. He wants one of those bikes bad.

I am always down for a good ride as I don't know the mountain roads all that well yet plus you never know who gonna met and its always nice to have people to ride with and possiblely teach you a better way!! Besides, my brother likes to go too fast for me.

DK, were you harrassed by Gilpin County? I don't think that I'm supposed to go back in that county - I don't remember the Occifer's name though. Did he clock you?

You are always way out in front; the cops will pull over us slow people first because they can't catch up to you. Plus, you are on the track bike; that means you are going to be going so fast that you might even hit Plaid speed. (a little spaceball reference there)

I actually put this theory to the test last week. No matter how fast you ride, some bitch in a white Subaru with a cell phone still leaves plenty of time for the officer's to setup a roadblock 3 miles south of 119. :(

I have no new skills that pertain to riding motocycles. My flying skills are coming along nicely with a new personal best of around 30 feet set a couple weeks ago, but I prefer not to practice or show off those skills.

That's OK, I'll ride my bike this weekend. The 636 is a bike that must be ridden in anger (see pic) and I'm just kinda happy this 3-day weekend.
