Any bike is fixible :) Thankfully its an R6 so parts are all over and pretty easy to pick up cheap.

Where are the pics? :dunno:

Scott we should "team up" and fix this! Now that we profected our bike rebuild skillz on the 636 this is going to be cake!

Yup,

Looks pretty straightforward to me too. There is a coolant leak, so we're going to have to have a close look at the radiatior, from there it's right side plastic, clutch cover, upper, headlight assy. If carefully purchased parts should be in the $1500-2000 range, probably a weekend's worth of work.

I'd be suprised if its over 1500, E-bay parts should make the rebuild pretty cost effective. Post up a list of parts on the R6 forum and you should be able to find everything you need. :)

Hopefully it doesn't need a battery, thats really beyond our skill set and definately should be a dealer installed item.

no, it doesn't need a battery, the bike starts and runs around, just coolant leaking from the hose connecting to the bent radiator pipe.
