Hi all, fully new to the forum, but very interested in suggested routes headed from the Queen City of the Plains toward Sun Valley, ID or Jackson, WY.
I did a tour 5 years ago from Seattle to Taos and back and had a wonderful time rolling across CO from Craig through Steamboat, Berthoud Pass, Sulphur Springs and into Denver from Idaho Springs - the way back I hit Rocky Mountain National Park, bumped up to WY from Dinosour UT and over into Idaho Falls, through Craters of the Moon and into SV...in one brutal day.
I would like to break it up a bit more this time and hope that there are twisty roads with great pavement and light traffic that locals can suggest - should anyone want to join up for part of the ride, the company is welcome. I am leaving Denver on Wednesday.
