Scruff Dog
Fri Jun 1st, 2007, 10:01 AM
Fog and fogetts (40 and over), make your plans to attend the 2nd annual senior sport bike riders bar-b-que on June 9th. We will hold it again at the Wild Lane Bed & Breakfast Inn located in Loveland (Northern Colorado). I have also blocked out the B&B rooms for Saturday for those that would like to stay the night (free!). First come first serve. We will start with a 9:30/10 o'clock ride, BBQ at about noon, big screen motorcycle racing movies (bring your favorites), foosball tournment with a prize for the best team. Come early, stay late.

Hwy 34 west through Loveland. At 34 and North Wilson intersection (Safeway/Kmart on right), go another 2.2 miles further west on hwy 34. Turn right onto Wild Lane. Take the road to the right of the B&B sign.

Please rsvp by post or pm.

Damn, Scruff I want to go, I'll be in Steamboat racing the 24 hours of Rio. Beer, bikes, buds and babes sound better than a tired ass on a mt bike. Maybe I can get a myserious mechanical and not be able to race. If I don't get my new crank in I won't be racing though as my old one is toast.

Big Thompson, St. Vrain, and Pudre Canyons to ride......

FOG BBQ's, Moto Haus Bike Nights, RYBO's Tech Day,
Hell, you even have a Frozen Dead Guy Days.....(or did that get canceled?)

I swear, I'm gonna have to move up there or start trailering my bike.:banghead:

Well, if Cathy, Frank, and Jeff are going, it should be fun.
I'll try and make the ride/bbq, can't stay too late though. :drink:

Yeah and ranked amongst the best places to retire, too, according to Money Magazine http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bpretire/2006/snapshots/PL0846465.html

but....shh, don't remind my Gemini twin how old I am, she still sucks lollipops and swings on the swingset when she goes to the park. She still thinks we came here for the park-like atmosphere and lakes and proximity to the mountains....and....

...and there ain't no way in hell I'm 43, I refuse to believe that kinda talk...

I'm involved in the motorcycle escort for the bicycle race in Ft. Collins this Saturday. I sure would like to stop by for a while and visit (in the afternoon). It would be great to crash the night, especially as I'm to be back up at Rybo's on Sunday, but I've got to feed and water my dog Sat night/Sun morn.

When would be a good time to stop by?

Thanks,
Pilot

Yeah, each one of the Mach 5's were 175k.......not happening here. I believe they came with 400 hp motors with odds and ends. No Racer X's were built. The idea of the Mach 5 at the time was that a movie was in the works but never came to be.

Nice Chevy......:siesta:
