6/16/07 Cruise (lots of) pictures

Firegsxr and I did the loop to Canon City, Salida, Hartsell, Woodpark and back to Colorado Springs. It started off incredibly hot and I was... to borrow a phase "sweating like a whore in church" with my tshirt, hoodie, full jacket. After Canon City we pulled over for some pictures and I took off a few layers, no less later however it became colder and started to rain, go figure.

Up until we passed Salida it was great, but after that it was rain ranging from a drizzle to a down pour off and on through woodland park. Enclosed are pictures of the places we stopped at.

This is a nice car we ran into after Monarch pass. I believe he said they run $50,000 - $80,000 depending on horsepower and carbon fiber but it weighs 1400lbs and has about 245 HP. The owner said it does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds which I think is probably pushing it considering the R1 is about 600lbs with an average rider and rates something around 180hp and does 0-60 in 3.3 seconds. None the less, a cool family car!

That car is an ATOM. Its imported from Britan (now manufactured in the US under the name BRAMMO motors) and runs a Ecotec 2.0L SC (supercharged) motor. Engine options are:
