Mods, if this is the wrong forum, please let me know (and maybe move the thread to the right locale)
As I said in my intro, my fiancee and I were down last week for a concert at Red Rocks, brought the R1 down and spent about 10 hours a day riding the mountains, looking for the twistiest off-the-beaten-path roads we could find. we found some good chunks of road (along US40 and US24) We stayed in ghetto Denver, and wound up following a few locals on the roads we found south, east and west of Denver...
Ran across a couple of older ZXes a few sport/touring and a pack of suzis... everyone was pretty friendly and there appears to be one hell of a sportbike community down that way -- can't wait to join it year round!
Thanks to the locals that let us 'tag along' ... and, we hope to get some more riding in with y'all in August (when we come 'scouting' for a house, jobs and schools...)
