Meet up at 8:30 leave by 9:00. I would like to go to horsepower hill, but not quite to Deckers, the road I dislike all the way to Deckers!!

I am open to different routes but like to keep it under a few hundred miles..

Um yea dapper...given that you never post up rides or going on one. And you say......?????

Bueller....Horsepower hill is a ride that I really want to ride, would you be willing to take me up? Only "tards" welcome. Nice and easy and fun - some speed but not balls to the the wall kinda ride?

Sure, not a problem. Although I won't be around this weekend due to the Gene dirt ride, and I'll need to convert the KTM back to 'tard mode. LMK when you wanna go.

I'm thinking 1st weekend August maybe. I have Laguna Seca the 21-22, then track day the 29th.
Can we do 1st weekend in Aug? Or what is your time frame?
I gather you won't be around this weekend for the picnic? (thinking you may wanna meet me before hauling my noob ass around.)

Well let me say the road from the dirt parking lot to deckers last time had crack sealer that was slick. I didn't care for it, have talked to guys who didn't care for it. And one guy ate it bad....

Ugh, i'll try but if I can't kick ass on my bike tomorrow it wont be ready in time. Any possibility for sunday?

And I agree about the section with tar seal, got a first hand view of a guy on a brand new daytona 675 going over his bars on that road...

If I get my bike bike back from the shop in time, I would be down for a Sunday ride, haven't done a group ride yet but it sounds fun

You guys really need to get out more, that is a winter route, we ride that all winter long when you can't ride the real mountains.

Fri Jul 13th, 2007, 01:20 PM
It may be a winter route for you but it's a summer route for them ...enough said. Ride what you enjoy riding.

I"ll say "maybe"......I was on the Silver Gixx 1000 today, it started running really badly and died twice when we got to Sedalia. Maybe I have a loose electrical connector or something.

Anyhow, If I show up I'll probably be on the FZ.......I'll check this thread later this evening to see if there are any other takers..........
