DIY camera mount for the tank (56k go away)

The first mount I fabbed up was stationary and non-adjustable. I decided it was too much of a pain in the ass to unbolt the thing and shove it in my vice if I wanted to change the camera's up-down view angle... so I said "screw it," and I made another one.


It's obviously a little weighty because it's made out of steel instead of aluminum, but it didn't take a lot of time, and it didn't cost $90. ;)

What was your top speed and avg speed? Can't see the speedo... Trying to figure out if it's stable over 100 mph...

It's stable to about 115, and then starts shaking after that.

What happens if you are in a wreck? I'm not familiar with other camera mount designs, but it appears that you would be injured quite badly if you ended up on your tank.
