I just bought this bike today and it was running completely fine and i went to start it to move it, put it in first and let out the clutch and blam it just died. I Tried repeating the process 4 or 5 times and just gave up. Checked clutch switch and all fuses and everything seems to be ok. Anyone have any ideas?

TIA,
Bryan

Was the kickstand up? It could be a bad switch if the kickstand was up.

If you install a kickstand cover...it's guaranteed to start;)

Kickstand switch was going to be my suggestion also. But if it's starting okay and letting you put it in gear and the engine is still running... that pretty much rules that out.

Does the motor die because of load... or does it stop suddenly like it's being switched off?

it just stops suddenly like its just being switched off. you dont even have to let the clutch out barely but a 1/2 inch or so and it just dies. i cant even begin to think of what it might be :(

If you have the 'side-stand' up. crack the throttle to keep the rpm's about 1.5k - 2k while engaging the clutch (stay on your bike...)

It has to be something with the clutch safety switch.
