it's amazing what superchargers and turbos can do. I have a piece of equipment that seemed as though it didn't even have the power to move it's own weight (P&H excavator), it was always bogging down the engine under a load. This thing has got a pretty big diesel engine (detroit diesel 12V71) Come to find out one of the turbos was fried and when it was replaced it acted as though it has a new engine.

There's a guy here in Denver, some of the 'busa owners might know him (scott), who ran the mile high busa club a few years back. His bike was written up in one of the sportbike rags claiming it reached 300hp. Don't know how true that is, but he's since sold it.

They can be built to well over 300 HP with a turbo. You can get 300 out of em naturally aspirated.
