I've got to go do an electrical install now, but I've got several shots of the race day to include Jenny's Easter Egg going through turn seven. I'll post them up tonight. Also, several others at the track took pictures.

Post up please. (PutFile.com) as well as several other on-line systems make it easy to post up.

Best to everyone and heal-up Bob!

If you have picks of Bob's wreck, out of respect it would probably be
best not to post them till he's had a chance to give his input on it.

Next year I'll make a better effort at some more candid shots in the pits. Race photos are great and there are a lot of good photographers who put a lot of time and money into those great racing shots. I'll try to get the perspective from the wrench and wench side, ha.

Here are some photos from the day. Please feel free to add to this post with your pictures from the race weekend.

Coming into Turn Seven, Pueblo Motorsports Park, Sept. 23, 2007, Novice GTU

Great Job CSC! An excellent showing of rides to the last race of the season. I'm still trying to figure out how the rider at the end managed to carry the pit stands, tire warmer and generator on the ride over Pikes Peak. Hey, maybe the Beemer guy tossed them in his side bags?

http://img2.putfile.com/main/9/26713440719.jpg

It wouldn't be the usual event if everyone didn't have the chance to tell me to F-off, errr, I mean give the CSC solute! (the viewing stands at turn Seven with the straight going into turn One in the background).

http://img2.putfile.com/main/9/26713440734.jpg

TomB gives the "thumbs-up" and I get a nice waive goodbye as I mention that I'm going to shoot pictures of racers (I think Tim is coming over to take away my batteries) instead of the fans. Diego says to Mishka, "Bite him". While Greg wishes he was on the track. Hey, I just noticed that TomB looks like he has his pants down and is taking a cr.., oh, never mind. LOL

TNT Tech/Suspension master, Ric, checking travel and damping on the cooler lid as Christina looks for a match in all the wrong places. Great job on the pit crew work gang!

It's not an Easter egg! It's a Faberge, damnit!YOU have the power to edit my posts! HA. Your egg in a basket is coming up. It takes a bit of effort to edit and get these pics from the camera to the net and back to the CSC boards. So, are you going to paint your bike orange and black for the Easter holiday next spring?

Steezy, these where shot using a monopod. I occasionally will hand hold the 500mm for in flight shots of birds. You really have to develop good shooting techniques to do that successfully though. Looking though EXIF data is a real good way to learn as well... I do it my self from time to time. It's one of the reasons I leave it intact on my web images.

Margaret, some nice shots on your site. Not sure how anyone could have missed me out on the track with that cannon. You mind if I hang on to that shot you took of me? I'm always looking for pics of me taking pics... kind of hard to get them my self ;)

And to appease the picture people, here is another shot...

Caviat:
If you have picks of Bob's wreck, out of respect it would probably be
best not to post them till he's had a chance to give his input on it.
Another thread that I missed... Damn coma!

Feel free to post pics of my crash if you got em.

Sorry Bob, but I was shooting turns 2 and 3 when you decided to Superman instead of Spiderman. I'm glad to see you are doing much better now. I really liked the new paint job on your bike. If you make it to your own track day, track me down and I'll have a nice print of it for you. I'll be pretty easy to find, my Denali now looks like this...

And of course I'll have that huge lens out there as well.

A few from around the pits:
- Go Fast! logo that (tattoo artist) Chris Fuller (#13) shaved into the back of my head Saturday night.
- The Go Fast! flags bending in the wind. I have video of this too I'll try & post.
- Joe showing his true colors. :p

A couple from the hospital:
- 3 weeks after the accident, just had a shower. The eyes would've been great for Halloween! :vamp:
- Checkered flags that Mark & Tammy Schellinger (Vanmar Racing) put up as decoration. :D
- Homeless guy with a trach tube... hey wait - that's me!

Man Bob, you gonna keep this as a trophy or give it to Scott to ride on the track day?

Haven't decided yet. Front wheel is taco'd so Scott would have to be riding a wheelie the whole time. LOL

- Pit antics also fall under the "boneheaded riding" category - i.e. stunting, etc. regardless of where you do it, or what bike you're on.

Spiderman

That wouldn't be considered stunting... it would be "adaptive riding technique"

Welcome back to civilization Bob!

Though I must say, with those red eyes, you look like one of those zombies from the movie "28 days"!

Glad you are with us.

Yikes Bob... Those are some disgusting pictures man. And not in the "cool" disgusting way I sometimes use. Your bike should be fine though. Take a hairdryer to some of those stickers to warm them up a little. Peel them off and stick them to your new bike. And it'll practically be like a new bike again.

Here's that video I was talking about (http://www.4horsemenracing.net/2007/images/BobsSupermanCrash/03-Windy.avi). It's 2 MB and 6 seconds long, but it does the wind much more justice than the picture.

And hey, you can still get a lot of use out of that bike Bob....
Paper weight.....modern art......door stop....boat anchor.

I missed this in it's original form...wish I had known it was available, I wouldn't have had to drain the coolant from the duc.
