Got the kaboom parts today. Ht-racing is a little slow but they do great work. I should have her back up by friday. Anyone up for a little track time? Was thinking about going all dirt this time maybe watkins?

I’m sure am finding lots of parts to spend money on. Dennis Kirk has my SM wheels…for $1800 (wouldn’t it be cheaper to have wheels built up?). Big bore kits for $900, GPR damper is gonna run $450, etc, etc. You guys are gonna have to show me the way of the SM when I get it all together. :alien:

Don't even buy those wheels! You will get a set for <$1K if your patient, no need for a damper. The way of the supermoto is also a skill of cheap! Spend the $ on good rubber.

And you could sell off the shit you don't use.

No hurry, I’ll watch for something that will work. I registered as YZguy. BTW, what classes do they run at IMI?

I f you want a good set of wheels without breaking the bank, contact Kevin at epicmotosports.com as he can get the http://www.warp9racing.com/ wheels at a great price. I think retail is around $750 or something like that and the quality is pretty good, sure if you were racing against Dimmick you would want the $2500 forged Marchesini's but since most of us in Colorado are just getting into the Motard thing it is a great way to get started.

And yes Bueller, I have mine on order :) Actually mounted my brake line and jetted my bike yesterday, my KX250F makes a whopping 31hp, not quite as much as my superbike but I know i will hurt myself more, and have more fun on the 250 :alien:

Hey Clarkie that's great! Yea John give them a call, I forgot about Keven saying they were going to start carrying those. Can't wait to see those mounted up, and since they carry the Metzler Race Tech Drifts there is the rubber you need in one stop.
I need to get my bikes jetting dialed in sometime, LMK details on that Aaron.
John the classes you would be eligable for would be; Novice open, Colorado Class(asphalt only), 30+ for the older (fast) farts, and lightweight if your 2 stroke stays under 144cc with your big bore kit.
I found that running 2 classes was a pretty decent day, 3 classes keeps you jumpin'.
