i havent had any problems yet with the new ordinance. i do know someone who got written. he swapped pipe out back to factory, got it inspected and then swapped it back out.

I just attended court for this on Tuesday. Fortunately w/ my looks i got it dismissed, no court fees nothing.

But if I was STUPID enough to put on the old exhaust and get pulled over again. $400 old fine + $500 new fine. Good luck to your friend chica, but he'll get pulled over again and be FORCED to pay.

The problem is that the way the law is written I don't see how it could have possibly passed the legislature. But then again it is the guvment eh?

I have at least one bike that is completely factory stock and was perfectly legal when it was licensed. It is now illegal in Denver. Ass Wads. :(

Aside from a very small section of southern denver I ride mostly on the interstate. Can the law from a local city be enforced on the interstates which I thought were owned by the feds?
