View Full Version : 46mm Socket Needed

Was curious if anyone had a 6-point 46mm socket I could borrow or maybe even buy (preferably borrow)? Maybe someone in the southern 'burbs' of Denver or I could even meet somewhere to pick it up.

I need to remove the rear wheel off my 748 and it has a slim 46mm 'axel' nut that holds it on. A larger adjustable wrench might work (18" or larger) but the nut is pretty thin so I don't want to mar it up... or the rim. So a socket would be ideal.

Just thought I'd check to see if anyone had one I could use for a couple of days as I have not been able to find one locally yet. Had placed a couple orders online but both were backordered with a 6-8 week wait. I'm hoping to get this done before the track day on the 17th.

Thanks!

Jack,

I have the socket you need and can bring it to Fay Myers tomorrow around 5 PM. You can just return it to me at the Bob trackday.

PM me.
