View Full Version : RC-51 Front End...

This is what I was thinking about doing this winter. I currently have an '03 Honda SuperHawk, and thought about upgrading my front end to a more beefy RC-51 front end. Has anyone done it and since I'm a N00B, what parts would I have to replace to get the conversion done?? Thanx in advance...

Dood, I have a 2001 929 front in GREAT shape. The ENTIRE front. I will make you a deal. IT is a bolt on

go to speedzilla.com at look in honda sport twins. there is a super hawk forum, many guys there have done this mod.

We are currently doing that exact swap on a customers bike right now, when done I'm sure I could give you an exact list.

Yea we are using:

RC-51
Forks
Rotors
Wheel w/ whole axle assembly from RC-51
Calipers
Upper tripple clamp

929
Steering Stem
All balls stem bearings (The hawks bearings are the same as the 929 where the RC-51 is not, you cant use the RC-51 stem)

Extras
Stainless Carbon Brake lines (mmm.. so sexy)
Wood Craft clip ons
Sintered Pads
Brembo Master

Yea it has been started... hes also doing an Rc-51 rear suspension setup...
:drink: btw Brat the supercharged GSXR will be dyno tuned this weekend. It runs damn good and sounds like lesbian sex during a tractor pull.

ahh will stop by, after i help my gf sister move.... hopefully i will go home drop off the turbo chevy and get the tlr. if its warm enough.
