The front end and the sides look very aerodynamicly dirty for a race car. I also agree that it will never see the road in it's current form.

As for the dirty aerodynamics... they didn't mention any wind tunnel testing, so that remains to be seen. Look at some of the F1 cars with odd little winglets and funky conards... all meant to shape the wind and create some type of advantage but seemingly odd when stuck in random little cuts of the car.

As for the car hitting the roads? Nope... the car was built as a concept for the american lemans series. I'm excited to see what they actually do produce to race.

I remember back in the 80's seeing the dodge viper concept car at Bandimere. It was such an odd looking beast compared to everything out at the time, but seems like nothing odder than anything else on the road today. Glimpse into the future for Mazda? Could be... only time will tell.
