Question on Frame Sliders, need input from you guys....

Well I want to get a set of Frame Sliders but I dk which kind to get. I wanted to get the ones from the Suzuki site:

..... however I've heard many things about certain kind of sliders that are bad and that don't protect the bike too well. Which kind would you guys recommend to get best protection?

Ditto on the Motovation sliders. I have them on my 2005 GSX-R 750.

I just saw those integrated turn signals on the tails.... man I'm tempted! I can't find any LED bulbs to fit the front signals or the rear :(

Ill second that... Joe is great and so are Woodcraft Sliders.... Believe me Ive tried MANY brands and crashed them all... and Woodcraft hold up the best and provide the best protection.... Here is an example... This is a 45-50 mph lowside with Woodcraft Frame sliders installed.... The damage to body work is minimal and the slider still has life left on it wiht out replacing the puck (another benny of Woodcraft.. U only have to replace the puck when it gets damaged and not tne entire set of sliders)

I had the opportunity to crash test LSL's - low speed, low side. The puck got tore up but protected the plastics well. The bummer was that I had to replace the bolt ($17+shipping) as well as the puck. Oh well, better than replacing plastic and they look mighty nice too!!!!!!

Just ordered a pair of LSL's plus some axle sliders as well. Big fan of the replaceable puck design. Just remember that the point of the frame sliders is actually to keep the frame from twisting, bending, or compromising, not neccessarily to protect the plastics! Plastic is expensive, but fubar the frame and the bike's done.

A lot of it depends on how you go down too. some brands are more prone to screwing up the bolt than others, but again it depends on the crash.
