My bike idles very low. HELP!!

I have a 2005 R6. When I start it up for the first time it idles very low. I let it run untill it reaches a good temp. But even after that it still acks like it's going to die. This is a new bike for me, and I don't know where I turn up th Idle at. Let me know what you think.

Vacuum leak?
Spray around the mating surfaces of the intake with starter fluid, if it revs up you've got a leak.

Thanks Guys I will fix it before I go home. Hopefully It's not a vaccum leak.

on the right hand side about thight level between the faings is a long shaft with a black round knob. turn forward to increase, backwards to decrease......
