Hey any help from someone on here would be great!! I have a matris damper which is on my Honda 954 and it has developed a serious crack down the side of the 'ball joint' on the gold part. The damper still works which I'm glad but afraid it may break further to the point it isn't functional.

I have attempted to 'email' matris however their email isn't valid. (info@matrisdamper.com) Didn't know if anyone has or is aware of a contact or customer service number for them.

The local shops here (omaha) don't carry matris so I'm kind of stuck. My worst case scenerio is to have someone here weld it and hope it holds.

Thanks
Rob

I think their email is info@matrisdampers.com (with an S on dampers). Found it both ways on their website, but since the website has an S I would suspect their email does as well.

The web is a wonderful thing...

This: http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=my_mod&p=matris+steering+damper

Found me this: http://www.matrisdampers.com/en_GB/prod.htm

Thanks.. I found that page too and that is what pointed me to their email address however came back undeliverable. I did speak to 2 bros and they weren't much help, ording that 'one' part would probably take half a year the way they spoke since the parts come from italy.
Looks like I'll try and figure out how the eyelit is attached and remove it so it can be welded.. (I'm hoping it just screws on/off)

Thanks guys..

I couldn't tell from the Matris webpage what part you are talking about. I have some old broke down (non Matris) steering dampers that I can take the ball parts off of. If you have a picture of the damage, I can see if one of mine will fit (mine *do* screw off) and send you one. Or not. It is up to you.
