Looking to replace the vent hoses in my Aprilia's fuel tank with something that is safe to be submersed in gas (inside and out) and will last a LONG time. Anyone know where I could definitely find some?

The factory put cheap latex rubber hose and that is cracked due to age and being submersed. Only needmaybe 6 feet MAX.

Thanks!

Ok in the event someone else needs the info I found a few answers.

Napa carries SAE 30R10 submersible fuel hose. This is not regular fuel injection hose but is safe for fuel SUBMERSION both inside and outside the tube. It is $$$$ at $23 per FOOT.

Regular fuel injection hose is plain rubber on the outside and WILL decompose.

Another option is Viton tubing from this place: http://www.mcmaster.com/
Do a search and you'll find it. it runs ~ $6 per foot. Considerably cheaper than the above hose.

Hope this helps someone as I searched and searched but did not like the $24/ft price tag. Viton for me next time I do the job.

Nate- had the same thing happen to Shiniqua. Bart/TK/Faster put in steel braided lines as the hoses eroded when I was riding in NorCA a couple years ago. Haven't had a problem since.
