No kiddin', man. Honda does not fuck around with their paint. It took me FOR-FUCKING-EVER to get it off of my gas tank and fairings. If we were bombed by a nuke today, the only shit left behind would be my aunt's christmas fruitcake, and remnants of Honda motorcycle paint.

That is why they make special schools for Honda mechanics. They call it the Marines.

Actually, those parts where powdercoated kawi green, and then it looks like UV damage turned them turquoise. Powdercoating is a bitch to get off.

It should be ready in time to sell and help PAY for the wedding. :siesta:

Are you just going to put the 600 motor back in it? I have a motor from a 91 CBR1000 that would make that a sweet little bike.

No mirrors or signals. Hooligan bike. :D

Not sure what I'm going to do with it just yet, probably sell it as the garage is getting pretty crowded.

Yup, $500 Hong Kong plastics. They were not easy to install. :banghead:

Bah!! Sissy! Take that thing out and wring her neck! LOL

I can't wait to hear how she rides. Did you figure out the air pressure in the forks?

Did you need to get that rear shock and resevior rebuilt?

Dude, once I fix the oil leak & put some brake fluid in the front, we can have an illegal bike race!

Air pressure in the forks? I had Jim change the seals and they should be good to go. Rear shock is off of a '97 F3 so it's in good shape and I shouldn't need to do anything to it.
