EDIT: 5/16/2008
Bummer, Looks like we're going to postpone this till after Memorial Day weekend due to so many scheduling conflicts.
I'll start a new thread and PM some of you next week sometime and we'll see what works for most people.

So whatcha all think about putting together a FOG ride later this spring?
I vote for the Northern canyon tour...pre Memorial Day.

Nick_Ninja
Wed Mar 26th, 2008, 03:53 PM
The northern canyon would be the Pouder.

I said tour...as in plural canyons.
But yeah Pouder, Big Tommy, Estes, hell...let's just keep going till we hit Steamboat.
(Just need to avoid Grand County till after June...that judge he no likey me.)

Welp, the goal today was to get the bike out of the house and started, but that was sabotaged by a coolant leak.:banghead: So the 18th is very doubtful for any real riding. I’ll try again next Saturday and if all goes well, maybe ride over the to ERC and watch those guys ride circles in the parking lot for a bit. Not wanting to venture too far for the first couple rides.

so chime in on your interest in riding this Sunday or if we should consider postponing this till Memorial Day weekend.

As of today's forecast Sunday looks picture perfect with moutain temps in the 70's.

This weekend there is also vintage motocross racing at Milliken http://www.rockymountainregionvintagemotorcycleclub.org/ for those interested in that. And there is a CSC ride already planned for Memorial Day weekend (Sunday the 25th). The weekend of June 1 is Superbike racing at Miller in Utah. A bunch of peeps are going to that.

I'm going to the MoCo Sunday morning, but don't plan to do the Noob ride unless they're desperately short lead/sweep riders.
