There are a few clowns who have created "water" engines by extracting hydrogen from water, and using that as fuel. However, the energy required for that process is usually equal to, or more than, the energy provided by burning the hydrogen. As such, it's a zero sum game, or worse, an overall negative output.

The only concept I've seen so far that has any legs is the process discovered by the guy at Purdue, which requires gallium and aluminum. Gallium is rather expensive, but can be reused. So if someone develops the necessary device to "extract" it from the sludge left over - a viable "water engine" is certainly feasible:

Oh come on, here is an article that even shows you how to do it! I'm tearing my bike apart right now and if the numbers are right I can covert my sub 100 HP bike to a 200 plus HP maniac. Maybe I will even try some of your suggestions and place a Yamaha sticker on it for the extra 10 HP. Anyone have a sticker to donate to a good cause?
