It was chilly, but ok this morning... an hour later its white-out conditions. This was after I got dried off, so most had melted already.

Yeah, it was sunny at my place this morning but my instincts told me to cage it. As I watch stuff roll in, I'm glad I made that choice.

I go to CSU so if I cage I walk a loooong ways. Makes me ride if its over 20.... Wasn't too bad, I was prepared for the cold.

Cold is ok. Wet is ok. I just don't like cold and wet. :)

We just got back from Moab late Tuesday night, midnight. Monarch Pass and Kenosha Pass froze us pretty good. I'lll have to figure out how to post some photos; Moab is awesome!

No, that one was never laid down. Close tho.I never laid that one down. I dropped it about 2 months after I got it. The red bike, on the other hand, is a different story.

My I'm ready to move to Colorado season began early this year, it was 101 and about 30% humidity (low for us) today. In the past month, 22 record highs and 15 days over 100 already. Those snow pics look nice right now.....

The worst one was back in January. This was only a couple of houses but in January I did that for 20 or 30 houses on the SV, and the roads were just about ice. I riggered it down to where I was going which was ok but going back up the slight incline I was holding the SV up by sheer muscle.

yeah the incline and the slush are what made that ride "interesting"

I just hate to let a couple hundred feet keep me from riding on what are perfectly good roads other than that. And it wasn't slush, it was packed snow with a top layer of ice. My inner thighs got a good workout that evening :D

Excellent cage there. There's a company in Germany that sells motorcycle chains. They're a tad expensive for the couple of times we get snow here that bad. I think I wasn't able to ride to work 6 or 7 days this year which is pretty average. Last winter I was working from home so I didn't get whacked by the big snowfalls although I did get the TransAlp out a few times :)
