That was the saddest episode of a cartoon ever. I can't even watch it when it comes on.

That picture has no power anymore.

In the new Futurama movie an alternate Fry goes back to 1999 and takes care of Seymour till he's old and grey.
He does still gets fossilized in Dolomite when he's 15.
But that's OK:
