I'm not sure what it is with me and black/silver Hondas... but this little girl is the newest member of the family. 2005 with 686 miles on it... Yoshi pipe, integrated taillight, and flushmounts. New tires, suspension adjustment, GP shift pattern change, better brake pads, stomp grips, and the HIDs off the F4i will be going on first. :D

Shit... I completely forgot about frame sliders. *Places order*

Yep. But the automatic ones do okay for a couple thousand miles. Hell, the one on the F4i didn't start making noise until just after 30k.

Johnstown. :)

That didn't take long. Looks good.

The insurance turnaround was 2 days, and this bike popped up right after. Coincidental find - and bizarre mileage.

... and bizarre mileage.

I mean really....who owns a bike for 3 years and doesn't break 1K on the odo?
That's like getting a dog and never taking it for a walk.
Feed her some high octane and take her out for some much needed exercise.

Congrats Chris.

Chris,

I'd like to just jump up and say, "Hey Chris, cool bike, nice ride!" and see you go off in the distance. However, there is an important safety issue to consider here. Unless the previous owner replaced those tires, they are most likely still from when the bike was new. It is most likely the tires were manufactured in 2004 making them near four years old. The compounds in them are not as good as they once were. You may want to consider checking the date codes on the sidewalls and buying a new set of baloney skins if they are over 2 years old. Otherwise they could act like a set of cold race take-offs going into their first canyon run after last weekends heat cycles on the track and quick resale for $50 bucks : whooops!, lowside and off the road you go. I'm getting wonder how many crashes are being caused by worn-out tires with plenty of tread left---but I digress.

BTW, nice garage.

Enjoy the new ride.

It's funny that you bring that up - I know that part of the cause of my crash was the tires, and the first thing I thought to myself when I saw the shoes on the RR was "Damn, I'm gonna have to replace those." :D

Don't worry, he just picked up some new shoes last night!

And that's why you sir, are the bomb.com. :D
