2 random questions

OK so here's the deal, I just bought some flushies and my 06 cbr 600rr has a 3 wire set up and the lights only have a 2 wire set up is that ok to just plug em in and go? i know i dont have running lights now only blinkers. and for the other question should i change my oil every 3000 or 5000 miles if its like a car i know it 3000 miles. the only reason i ask is that i change it every 3000 and seems to still be very clean. thanks for you help

test the wires with a multi-meter or test light. as you said, you no longer have running lights so you will only connect the blinker light positive and negative.

as for oil changes, that will all come with opinion. 3000 at most IMO. its clean and thats a good thing. it will help extend the life of your motor also. sure some people say its overkill, well a motor rebuild is also going to kill your pocket book.

do i need to change the plug for the wires or ??? just plug em in

when i installed fluch mount blinkers on my street bike, I had to splice into the original bike wiring harness. I just cut the plug off and soildered the connections.
