This is making me homesick. I was born in that region and have tons of relatives there along the borders.

We drove down the CA coast a few years back, through Pebble Beach, down along Big Sur. Your first picture with the big rocks against the highway reminded me of that. I'd love to take the bikes out to CA and ride the coast. Is that Hwy 1?

That guy did a motorcycle tour of the Alps, going through Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Germany last summer. I found that website and just went nuts. Dayum! I'd love to do what he did!

Sorry Wyeth...I think I misunderstood what you were saying here. Yep, you're right about Hwy1. And that guy that did the European trip also did a 10k+ trip through Canada and some of Cali (Hwy1) in '06. I am so jealous.
