Was trying to find the story behind this picture and found something sort of interesting -- the largest great white on record ever caught was 6.4 meters (21 feet), which was caught off Cuba in 1945. It weighed 3312 kilos (7302 pounds).

Used to surf at La Joya coves...the small 2 to 4 foot sand sharks were every where...they never bother anyone tho...even when you'd step on one, they'd just scury off...

In Florida when surfing I would see a few bullsharks - Get out of the water - then get back in after it swam by - :lol: :lol:

Agree with that...never saw anthing bigger than about 5 or 6 feet in Diego...never got close enough to measure tho...
